Join us for the Verde Valley's Premiere juried arts event in celebration of Earth Day!

Saturday, April 22 from 10:00AM to 9:00PM. It will be held at the Old Town Center for the Arts in Cottonwood and will feature fine arts and selected fine crafts such as:

Old Town Center for the Arts is pleased to announce “Ken Koshio & KENZOO’s CELEBRATION of the EARTH"  as the headliner concert for the first annual 'Old Town Arts Festival' to be held on Saturday, April 22nd.  World class Japanese Taiko drummer, Ken Koshio, brings five other drummers to this celebration concert to express the diversity of cultures and rhythms for this Earth Day event.  The concert will begin in the OTCA Theater building at 7:00 pm. Tickets to the evening performance are $20 advanced, $22 at the door (if there are any available) and $25 priority seating in the first 3 rows.  Tickets are available online at www.showtix4u.com, in Cottonwood at Mt Hope Foods and Desert Dancer, and in Sedona at the Local Juicery. The Taiko drummers will also present a special drumming demo / ritual during the afternoon as part of the many arts activities that will support the visual arts on display at the festival.
Artist Leslie Fox will create a special 'Trash to Treasure' fashion show at the Old Town Arts Festival that will feature recycled, repurposed and reclaimed clothing and fabrics to delight the festival goers on Saturday, April 22nd.  The fashion show will take place in the Old Town Center for the Arts theater building at noon.
To put some spice and taste into the festival offerings, Chris Dobrowolski will host a chef 'chop-off' competition, that will feature locally grown produce and micro-greens. Chris is opening a new restaurant in early April, the 'Muse Bistro' that will be located in the front cottage of the Old Town Center for the Arts complex.

Wine tastings will be offered by various local wineries, including Winery 101.
